just wanting verification before i hit format

partition 1; extended 64gb
partition 2; linux swap 4gb
partition 3; ext4 / 50gb main install
partition 4; ext4 10gb if i wanna try a different distro later
partition 5; ntfs 30gb for windows when its required
partition 6; ext4 /home 1.27tb want all my files to go here
just wanting to check that correct

Usually, you'd want your boot partition (part 3, and maybe part 4, in your case) to be primary partition. From your list, it seems part. 2-6 will live inside part. 1 extended? (But maybe you've configured it differently?) Also, Windows cannot live inside a Linux extend partition, I think.

Typically, I see this kind of setup when I partition:

1: /
2: /extra-stuff
3: [windows]
5: /home (inside extended)
6: [swap] (inside extended)
