Just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10 with a live cd install. Now can not use cd/dvd.

The error message says can not mount cdrom0. I have not idea how to use the terminal. When I try it asks for a password. When I use my password for my laptop, it says wrong password.

To become root use the command sudo su enter
password enter .
Or did you not know how to mount ?
