just terminal


hii.. there,,, I m newbie to Linux... and want to install just simple linux or I want just text mode from begin, what can I do to do that? I have fedora 7 dvd, I have try to install it but I install it full and succes, but I want try from just terminal and try to upgrade until full like I have install.... anybody help me!!!

If you want text mode only, then don't install any GUI apps at initial setup. If you just want to boot into the terminal, then edit /etc/inittab and change

id:5:initdefault:
to
Code:
id:3:initdefault:
