Hi i was just wandering where epiphany keeps its cache, what the difference between amule and xmule is, how do i control the files that i share on amule?

Your questions have obvious answers that you could have found out yourself. But Im in such a good mood that Ill answer anyways.

1. a quick locate shows this: /home/user/.gnome2/epiphany/mozilla/epiphany/Cache/
So something similar would be the one your looking for

2. As ive undersood, amule is a fork of xmule.. Most people use amule anyways, and I find it sufficient

3. The settings section in amule has the shared directories setup. A tip for thatm, if you want to recursively select a directory for sharing, rightclick it.. Or was it middle click.. dun remember, uninstalled it a while ago..

The first reply is a guy acting like an asshole. He needs to get a new damn life. The part about xmule/amule. These are both bad program. When you go to download/upload they take somewhere around 100% of your bandwidth even if they aren't actually transferring that much data at once. This will cause every computer on your network to seriously lag when connecting to the internet. For instance, if xmule is loaded and downloading say 5 kbps every machine on your network accessing the internet will begin to crawl. So, say you were playing enemy territory or ut2004. You will crawl like there is no tomorrow. According to everything I've read this is intended behavior. Until the dorks get it worked out I'd recommend not using/supporting their piece of shit program.

You can set the network utilization, and if you keep your waiting list _also_ small, the UDP traffic wont be a problem..

But this is anyways offtopic. I do not support warez, ive quit myself.. The question was simple, the answer was simple.
