Red face Just Send to Mail Internally


Dear Friends ,

I am using Redhat Enterprise server . I make it a Mail server using SENADMAIL .
Now, I want a situation where my internal network users cannot send their mail
in external world (Like yahoo, hotmail or others) But they can send their mail
internally .

Plz give me a suggestion How can I do it ?

Are you trying to block any external access---or just mail?

I think what you need is a firewall--I have no personal experience, but there should be reams of info out there. Note that--once you have external access--you can always post mail using web sites. Give a clear description of exactly what priveleges you want your users to have.

Question sending mail

Dear pixellany

Actually I just want a condition where my internal network clients cannot
send their mail in outside world through SENDMAIL mailing Service.
How I can block it . It is just for sending mail from outside, But they
can send their mail internally . Thx.. ..

use a firewall to block port 25 outbound from the mailserver.
the initial response was correct..
