Talking Just saying hello, and thank you for bing here for the help..

I have a Windows Server backround, I am new to Linux and need to learn quick. My company is moving to all Red Hat Servers. I know nothing, I was told to use CentoS to play with, until I can get my copy of Red Hat. So I have installed Centos in a vm and I am playing. Dont know what to learn first. If you have any ideas on where to start please feel free to say whats on your mind. Thank You again for you ear and time.. Al

Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

A great decision your company made! If you know nothing, as you state, then start at the beginning. Read the documentation for the distro you've installed and besides that read some general documentation like Rute User's Tutorial and Exposition which will teach you a lot. Take it one step at a time and when in doubt, post here.

Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux.

Kind regards,
