Just Installed Xubuntu. Screen shows just strange colours. ¿?

Hi. New to Xubuntu.
Just installed xubuntu 7.10 from an alternate inst. CD on a Mac Powerbook G4 400 Mhz 128 RAM.
Everything run smooth during installation but when i try to start up the computer now, after the booting black screen, i just seen strange colours because (i suppose) the screen is not well configured.
How do i change this without logging into the OS (because i can't)

This is a tough one. I think I would try booting up with a live cd, mounting the hard drive and checking the X log file (/var/log/Xorg.log) for errors. Then you'd have to mount the drive read-write and manually edit the Xorg.conf file. Maybe just starting the entire install process over from scratch would be easier.

Ok. I will try, but it will be hard cause now the cd reader is not working...
