Just Installed Nagios and it wont start

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Can anyone help please, I am not sure if this has been posted b4.

Thanks a lot!

I am logged in as "root". I made all the necessary steps at the installation. And when I try to login, it gives me the above error eventhough I entered the necessary login info such as login name and password.

When I try to start it on a command line I get this error "This account is currently not available." "done"

So you tried to login to nagios as root?

If so, you are using the wrong user. You need to log into nagios as "nagiosadmin".

Did you set this user up for nagios? Naigos' does not validate users through /etc/passwd.

Read this tutorial on setting nagios and chose the os you are using.

Thanks Jerel4565 for your quick response.
Sorry for not being clear. Yes, I am using "nagiosadmin" as login name. And I just set up the "userup" for nagios and this is the output I get.

Website: http://www.nagios.org
Error: Cannot open main configuration file '/home/Bille/userup' for reading!
Nagios 3.2.0 starting... (PID=5026)
Local time is Sat Jan 02 12:40:10 PST 2010
Bailing out due to one or more errors encountered in the configuration files. Run Nagios from the command line with the -v option to verify your config before restarting. (PID=5026)

As mentioned before start the nagios services just check output of the following
/path/to/nagios/bin/nagios -v /path/to/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
