Not exactly - In Wintel, the Android SDK allows for connection to/from an Android OS (like on a mobile phone) and enables issuing commands to the phone, installing apps, accessing root, etc... I want to be able to do the same from Linux - not looking to run Android - just access the phone (or an Android tablet). The SDK is a set of files that enable the Windows OS to talk to the Android OS - I am looking for the same thing for Linux (to talk to Android).
Anyway, thanks for the quick response.
