Just installed Biolinux 8, stuck at GRUB after first reboot

I'm new here, so I hope I am posting in the correct forum.

I have just installed Biolinux 8, went through the set up process, thought it was going great, but after my first reboot the computer hung at GRUB. I'm currently booting off the DVD. I installed and ran boot-repair. I still have the same problem. Here is a copy of the boot-repair report.

I'm worried about doing too much until I get a few opinions from folks with more experience. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Terri

I would try a new install, sometimes that works.

At the bottom of the boot repair you see the following message:

Quote:

Reinstall the GRUB of sda3 into the MBR of sda
Near the top of the boot repair output, you will see an install of Ubuntu on sda3. There are no grub.cfg or other boot/grub files showing for sda3 but you do have them for sda1. Do you actually have some Ubuntu on sda3? Try reinstalling Grub pointing to sda1. There should be an option to do that under Advanced options. If not, it might be simpler to reinstall.
