Wink Just getting started...

My name is Bob and I am excited to have the chance at running Linux side by Win. I am building another Optiplex, (what I'm used to). Eventually I want to go away from Windows if possible. Going to see how far I can take the 755, Q9550 is my goal. At the same time, I am hoping to learn about the Linux network so I can protect my systems and also to better utilize, and control, system resources. I gather by reading that Linux can give me these opportunities. I hope I can eventually contribute to the community, but for now I appreciate any advice and I will try to implement suggestions. Glad to be here
