Just a question
Hi,
Last month I downloaded and installed the "centos" Linux in my PC.
But recently I read somewhere in the net, that the development of
the os is stopped. Is that true ?
Thanks,
Raj

No, it's not. Where did you read this?
Please use better thread titles in future. There are LOTS of questions here.

I read it from somewhere in the net only. It was like this that its (centos's) main developer is not there and nobody could contact him

Yeah, he was MIA for a while, but is back now. Also, it seems that the developers at CentOS are setting mechanisms in place to ensure problems like that one don't happen again. Sorry, I don't have a reference/link at hand but I'm pretty sure you could find this updated news with a little help from google.
Cheers,
EVo2.

You know where's an excellent source of information about CentOS? The CentOS website!

Look on the right hand side.
