I would like to build an mp3 jukebox can you recomend a light weight distro an software for this purpose, this machine will be connected to a mixing desk for DJ purposes to.

Mac Mini. Seriously. You can use either OS X or install one of many PPC based linux distro's.

I am also looking for something that is equal to Musicmatch Jukebox for ease of use and the way the library is layed out and haven't found it yet. So far everything I have tried works fine, but I can't seem to get them fullscreen so I can see more of my library. And I would like something that has CD burning built in, even though K3B is hard to beat for speed and simplicity. JUK is close to what I want and I hate to have to run under WINE. I am kinda partial to Debian and Deb based. Install what you need and leave the rest behind, ease of update, and fast. Good luck in your search.
