java programming in fedora
 

i use fedora 16 and write java programmes in gedit and compile it from terminal using 'javac' command..but whenever i'm using 'TextIO' command, e.g. 'rate = TextIO.getlnDouble();', it is showing an error that 'cannot find symbol'..what should i do now?

I am not a java programmer but I did google a little, found this at Stackoverflow which may be a start

This is not really a Fedora question or even a Linux one but a Java programming question. You may get faster/better answers at a Java forum like at JavaRanch or something similar.
