Question Java maybe mozilla issue

I've been trying to login to online.bbandt.com and have been able to come up with a reason why this is not working for me. I have flash and java plugins installed in mozilla, but unable to login to that site. can anyone think of a reason why this is not working?

Do you have Java and/or JavaScript enabled in Mozilla?

Click Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Enable Java/JavaScript

This may or may not be the solution, but it's a starting point.

It may be a cookie thing, this site doesn't appear to have Java/Flash needs? At least not at the page that came up for me. Do you get the box for login and pass? If so, check your cookies, you may be denying them without even knowing it. Try to enable "allow cookies" and try again.

Cool

I flushed my cookies and reallowed for them to install, I also have under prefs java and xslt enabled. none of those ideas seemed to fix the problem. when connecting to that page I view everything but am not able to continue the login process after entering the username and pass, It just won't submit the data and procced.

So when you "submit" nothing happens at all? Or does the page load, but refresh back to the original page? Try using a different browser, try things like konqueror, and Galeon (which is based off of Mozilla, but worth a shot). See if it's a browser specific problem. You may also want to email the webmaster just to see if they can tell you whether they believe that their site will only work in IE or not. Sadly, some sites are setup that way...

Cool

Maybe the website is using MS-specific extensions...
These days that's a far-spread practice :(
Some webmasters suck badly and show no respect for the
ideas behind the web and/or standardization.

Try to validate the website
in question here ... :)

Cheers,
Tink
