I am new thanks to linuxquestion.com and all the members here am very greatful to be apart of this great forum

i wanna learn alot about linux so i'm guessing this is the best place to be when you wanna learn about linux, now i made an attempt to install lamp-server but am total stupid to everything i only know to follow others so far. Am not good at all so i was hoping someone here to help me through with getting my first system up and running i wanna install lamp-server configure it to run request tracker 4 so that i can use rt is there anyone that could help me with this please?

Hi, welcome to LQ!

Given your browser icon I assume you're running ubuntu?

How did you go about installing LAMP?
And why don't you simply install Rt4 via apt-get?

yes thanks for the reply i am using ubuntu and yes i did do apt-get but i do not know how to get it running in the browser like this example http://www.bestpractical.com/rt/screenshots.html
if you understand what am talking about plz assist
