itunes/iphone 4s help
 

I've been trying to figure how to run itunes on ubuntu. I've tried dealing with wine and playonlinux. I can't even get older versions to work properly.

Is there another music player with similar interface as itunes? I'm very ocd about my music files being sorted properly.

Also, it is very important for me to be able to sync my iphone. It is jailbroken. I've heard that this could help my chances somehow.

Any help is appreciated.

Which Ubuntu version are you using? Here is UBUNTU DOCUMENTATION PORTABLE DEVICES/iPHONE, did you try that?

This is older info, but claims to work for jailbreak..SYNC iPHONE IN LINUX/UBUNTU.

Virtualbox with a Windows OS and iTunes installed over that.

I'm using Ubuntu 13.04.

I still can't seem to get it to work. I'm willing to settle with rhythmbox, but whenever I try to sync music to my phone, the program crashes.
