It Crashed!

no not the OS, KDE. Whenever I install an RPM it just crashes, and I get an error message from KPackage stating something about signal 11 and SIGSEGV.

Greetings Brother Michael

You are using RedHat 7.3, correct ? (consider adding that to your profile under distribution).

I had the same problem with Kpackage under RH 7.3, I suggest installing from the command line.

Open a console window and use the following syntax:
Code:
rpm -ivh filename_of_package
