Which movie player are you opening it with, what's the exact error message you get, and what are the exact steps needed to make the error message appear?

There is no "Linux 3.2".

You almost certainly mean version 3.2 of your Linux distribution.

Did you think of looking for alternatives to "BitCommet"?

"Transmission" is nice, it might even come installed in Ubuntu.

I would suggest starting here: http://www.transmissionbt.com/download.php

It depends what Linux you're looking to install transmission into, but that download page at the transmission website shows lots of links for various distros, as well as the sourcecode if you wanted to build transmission yourself.

ktorrent works too.

freshmeat.net to FIND packages and their home pages. Or use your distro's package manager.

xine is the only player I've had success with when it comes to VCDs. A bit dated in terms of formats these days.
