I'm pretty much new to the linux world, installed suSe 10 yesterday so I'm just getting used to things. My first issue is with Cedega, when I go to install it detects my videocard profile wrong. It says it's from Mesa Projects (are they the people that wrote the driver for ATI?) and it also reports my video ram as 128mb and agp mem available as N/A (I would assume that's for agp users only). Anyways my card is a PCIe X850XTPE, if that information is needed. My second problem is sound, I have my 4.1 Logitechs hooked up through my Audigy 2ZS and the lasted ALSA drivers (I think atleast) and it says the integrated audio is set to 0 and the A2ZS is set to 1, yet I hear nothing.
Also does anyone know if I can run xfire and ventrilo under cedega?
All I can really help with is the video without more information. You don't have the official ATI drivers installed or if you do, they weren't installed properly.
Hmmm any advice on doing so correctly, I think I used the sh ati* command to get them going, I do have the ATI Control Panel, but it says "ATI Unknown Control Panel"
