ISO Image burning .. HELP !!


I am running MEPIS 7 and just download an ISO Image file from frostwire. How can i download the ISO image to a cd?

You download the ISO image to a hard drive. Then you burn the ISO image to a CD either using cdrecord from the command line or k3b from a GUI.

If you downloaded it with Frostwire (bittorrent client) it should be on your hard drive (somewhere). Check your directory where frostwire is saving its files to.

Yes, the file is downloaded.

something else is strange? All my downloaded files go the "shared" folder of course and the iso file says

microsoftwindowsxpSP2Proffesional.iso.zip

Not the correct file, it should be.


SimplyMEPIS-CD_7.0-rel_32.iso


For 32 bit, there is also 64 bit version.
