Sorry to bump up this post but i am having the same problem and i do not follow on what these people have said.

When i download the ISO, i do not have to extract comes as an ISO file. i do not even touch the file.

When going into nero express, i do select the burn image.

I tried a version of knoppix and a version of morphix with the same write error. i even used that alcohol 120% burning software.

burning ISO seem fairly straight forward. With the exclusion of linux, i have only burned an ISO image once, but i followed the same protocol as above and it worked just fine.

This thread has been split from

der_auslander, it's a good idea to create your own thread, not to post in an old one. It may be that your problem is completely different and a new thread gets more exposure (simply, your post in an old thread may just get lost).

Do you get an error or the image simply doesn't work? What happens when you try to read the burned cd? What do you get (one file in or files and directories)? Are you able to read the files? Is the booting the only thing that doesn't work?
