when i used to use isdn 128 k, the only thing that helped me was a prog called 'ppp'

search for the rpm or somethin...install it..

then in a terminal, do a

ppp -s ( to setup)

then,

ppp -c ( to connect)

at least i hope i remember it right...it was a really long time back...i could never get it work with kppp..

Although this topic is a bit old, there still might be some people whoŽd be inerested in the answer.

It is possible to get it work with KPPP...well, at least I managed to do so on SuSE 9.3 Professional (KPPP 2.3.0, KDE 3.4.0) using the instructions for Gentoo Linux provided on this page:

http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_ISDN_Alt

Just be sure to use AT command(s) which correspond to your modem (a 3Com U. S. Robotics ISDN Terminal Adapter is used just as an example).
