I know that there are several drivers for PCTEL PCI modems and AMR, but what about the ISA?

I've got an ISA PNP PCT388 modem chipset and it doesn't work with any configuration generated on isapnp.conf, I always receive the message "<IORESCHECK> error" and "IO error" when I try to activate it with "isapnp /etc/isapnp.conf" and "setserial" respectively. Is there any driver for ISA PCTEL modems or there's only support for PCI and AMR?

Did you uncomment the required records in isapnp.conf? You need to tell your device which interrupts and options to use. After you have made a selection, uncomment the '(act)=y' line. It's been a while since I've used it so the specifics are foggy but the semantics seem good.

Look for a man page ('man pnpdump', or man 'isapnp.conf') or wait here for a better answer. <shrug>
