Is Zorin debian or ubuntu? I read articles say both.

Both the zorin site and Distrowatch ( https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=zorin ) say that it is Ubuntu based. Some articles may be calling it Debian based because Ubuntu was originally (and to some extend is still) Debian based.
So Zorin is a Debian type distro based on Ubuntu. |
