Is YellowDog 6.0 on PS3 Worth it?


so im debating whether its worth installing YD6.0 on my PS3. What kind of things can I do as far as emulating? I'm a n00b ..SOWWY. I want to get into linux really bad this shit seems tight but I'm not trying to mess up my 400 dollar entertainment system. what do you guys recommend ?

It is hard to say how "tight" it will be for you, but there is no way to do any permanent damage to the console by installing YDL onto it. Just make sure your saves are backed up, as the worst case would be you need to reformat the drive.

As for what you can do, you can do pretty much anything you can do on a desktop Linux machine (but without hardware accelerated video).
