is this possible?....

hey..umm...i just got a 2.5" laptop hdd case, and i can use it as a usb device, its awesome! Is there any distrib of linux that i can use that will boot from a usb device?? I tried debian (knoppix) with a lilo boot loader, it took me a while, but i finally got it to show "sda1" in the boot loader, but it gave me an error..(i forgot it...plz dont hurt so...any way that i could get linux to boot from sda1? just tell me the distrib and ill get it =) *listens to laptop hdd click...*i have to fix that too...its project =) *click click click click* *disconnects hdd* mmm, better...anyway! plz help if u can...

Project for a clicking hard drive?? I'd say its about to go and you need to replace it.... I doubt you have the tools to fix a clicking hard drive..

it stopped clicking stops clicking when i read from hasnt clicked for a while now..*prays* im only 14...lapo hdds are too expensive =D lol
