Is this files size error of 9.0MB in mutt?


Hi Team,

I am getting error while executing mutt command in linux OS 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5xen

$ mutt -s "Test mail with file size" -a test1.zip mymailid@abc.com < /tmp/testmail.txt
Error sending message, child exited 75 (Deferred.).
Segmentation fault

$ du test1.zip
9116 test1.zip

Please suggest.

If you think it's because of the 9Mb attachment size as your thread title suggests, did you try it with a smaller attachment?

Yes, I can send small size file like *.zip, *.txt file.

Ok...so did you then ask your mail administrator if there are limits on file sizes on the mail server?
