The livna repos should have most of what you need

just read the info on the site about setting it up.

i love how one thing leads to another, i've learned an assload from troubleshooting these past 10 days....

thanks 4 the help everyone.

but i guess at home i am fu*ked because my modem is not compatible with linux...
is the only solution to download the needed rpm's from another machine and use some type of removable media so i can access them on my home machine?
