first, there are very few viruses for linux, so antivirus for linux is quite useless, nonetheless, f-prot has a version of their antivirus suite for linux, take a look at that, that was by far the easiest one i found to install and use, other more popular ones are harder to install

Linux Anti-virus.
You made a good decision to start investigating anti-virus options now. Though Linux is more secure than MS, the "Security by Obscurity" is going to become less and less viable as it's popularity increases. There are already viruses "In the wild" that are Linux specific and others that are cross platform. Better to be over-cautious than careless. One thought to find solace in is the fact that any vulnerability discovered in Linux, will be fixed much quicker than in MS because of the open source support.
One anti-virus that hasn't been mentioned is from Bitdefender.
http://www.bitdefender.com/bd/site/products.php?p_id=16
You can download it for free.
Best Wishes.

No!! I think you need a licence for Kaspersky Antivirus.
But the rest is all free software, at least for personal use.
