is there any alternate to Xfree server....crashed twice???

i have redhat9 loaded and till date my xfree server has failed twice once the pcidata & bitmap was lost and then the agpgart file would not load .....

I was wondering if there is any other alternative to the Xfree86 that can be tried?????????
