to make it so when it boots up, it automatically runs...
xgamma -gamma 4 so i dont have to type it in console everytime i log on? or anything like that, cause its way too dark an my monitors on full etc.. Mandrake 9.1 thanks in advance.. |
of course! you can make a .xinitrc file under your ~/ directory.
$vi .xinitrc insert xgamma -gamma 4 :wq logout and login back in to test |

your home directory. if your not familiar which the convertions, try changing directoy and runngin "cd ~" and you will always go to your home directory.
and please use useful thread titles why stop half way?? "Is there a way to run xgamma automatically?" - much much more useful. |
