You don't need to defrag in linux. Are you wanting to convert existing space with files to be split into a new partition or what?

after reading some articles, I found that i didnt make myself clear.

Actually, what I want to defrag is my FAT32 partition.

I have a Fedora Core 4 running in my box. And I have a FAT32 partition: hda2 for data saving &exchanging. I want to move&defrag all data on hda2 to win some space so that i can reallocate a partition for the new distro.

Is there any tool under Linux who can defrag a FAT32 partition?

while i dont know of a defrag program you are looking for, it shouldnt be nessesary. Just download a copy of qtparted, and use it to resize your partitions. If there is data that needs to be moved around on the partition to resize it, the program will take care of it for you.
