Question Is there a portable distro?

I have three different systems that i work on. I have just installed redhat on one of them, but have no control over installing a different OS on the other two. After working with redhat, I can't stand Windows. I have a 60GB USB drive that i put all my data on, anyway. Is there any distro that i could also install on the drive and use with all three systems? I know "live" disks would work, but i think they are a pain to update. Is there any distro that you would recommend?

Any suggestions help,
Thx

Hi,

Try NetBSD

Check it out here:
http://www.netbsd.org/

There are probably also some other (and perhaps) even better linux distributions out there, so I suggest you also check out distrowatch

Good luck searching

Sincerely, Jorgen

Many live-cd distros, such as DamnSmallLinux, have an "Install to HD" option.
