Question Is Red Had going to become Fedora?

Hi guys...
I heard something that I didn't understand.
Is Red Hat going to disapear and become Fedora?
What's the truth about it?

Not exactly.

Red Hat Linux, as we know it in RedHat 9, will no longer be released. RedHat will continue to issue "Enterprise" versions of RedHat, if you have deep pockets and want to buy their services. Very nice products, I'm sure, but expensive.

Fedora will be the community supported, open-source, RedHat-like product.

I switched to Mandrake. Much better service, and much less BS, than I ever got from RedHat, IMHO.

Good luck to you!

Thanks a lot
In fact before I installed RH9 I had Mandrake 9 and I liked it much better. RH9 seems to be a bit less stable as I already had a few crashes, things that never happen to me with Mandrake, although my experience with either of them is limited.
Thanks again
