Is Konqueror adequate?
I've just shifted to Linux and have really enjoyed the experience so far. One issue I've faced, a common one it seems, are the fonts in Mozilla. After lots of reading and numerous attempts at remedying the problem, I'm starting to wonder if shifting to Konqueror is an easier/better solution. Has anyone encountered any issues that would indicate Konqueror is an inadequate browser? I have few requirements except for general plug-in support. The shift to a mozilla alternative would also mean shifting my email/contact/calendar - which I would switch to the "K" set of tools. Any specific downfalls I should be aware of?
Thanks for the input.

Have you tried Firefox? On my system the fonts look alot better than in the mozilla suite.

Apart from that, Konqueror is an excellent browser and KMail is a perfectly adequate email program.

I hope this helps

Many Mac users claim that Safari is the best browser around, end of story. Konqueror uses the KHTML engine to render pages which is what Apple built Safari upon. Might be something you're interested in :)
