is it safe to remove libsvga??

Well it depends if you use any applications that require it... We've no way of knowing that. It wouldn't do any long term damage though, and it's certainly safe in as much as your house won't burn down. You can always just add it in again later if anything goes awry.

btw, a more useful thread title would be appreciated in future.

KateOS puts WAY to much junk in there
but linux is defineitly a alternitive to M$ Ickdows
