Hi all,

Well, I was quite relieved to see the relevance of this thread to my problem. But now I find that the info given in this thread about getting the linux driver from www.relianceinfocom.com is no longer relevant because that link doesn't lead anywhere.

Also, a lot of changes have taken place in the Reliance industry over the last couple of months.

My difficulty is, I have an LG 5340 CDMA(data cable of LG 5130 is compatible with this model). It has a USB connector. In WindowsXP I used the driver that came with the CD (USB-to-Serial converter). Now, I'd like to use RConnect from linux (RHEL 4). Have not been able to find enough resources to guide me, yet.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Mufy,

You will be able to get the drivers for windows/linux/macintosh at this url :-

http://www.reliancecommunications.co...ectsearch1.jsp

Probably Reliance has renamed rconnect as netconnect. I dont see your mobile model no.(LG 5340 CDMA) listed there but you have an option to explore.
