Is it possible to exclude the titlebar when screen capturing a window
 

Hello

I guess the subject line says it all. I use xwininfo to get information on the geometry and corners of a window. However, when I use ffmpeg to screen capture the window, the titlebar is also recorded. Is there a way to exclude the titlebar from the recording? Thanks

I decided to use RecordMyDesktop. It lets me draw an area of the window I want to record and it does a pretty good job.

Thanks for the suggestion and link for a future possibility of trying it.
