Is it possible to change directories??

Just wanted to know if it is possible to change the directory where anonymous downloaders download from in vsftpd?

I tried the value in vsftpd.conf , but it did not work.it still downloads from /var/ftp/pub .(and yes I restarted vsftpd)

anon_root=/specific_directory

Did you look in /var/log/audit/audit.log?
