I have modem ..... and I don't know that this modem is linux compatible modem?

but for sure this one is winmodem ...driver is installed auto. in w2k ....but that not original driver it's only compatible driver...b'coz driver name and chipset name is completely different ....

So is their any way to find out that these modem is compatible in linux just like HAL of windows some utility or what ever.........
