Unhappy IRC / FTP how to unblock

Hi all,

We are running RedHat 9, but I dont know the configuration for our firewall, all i know is that we ban sites using the service named. And all i do is add lines on the /etc/named.conf so that we can ban a site.

My question is, how do i unblock IRC or FTP on my box only? I am using a windows box connected thru the internet by LAN, and LINUX is the internet server.

Please help! Thanks!

Open up ports 21 and 6667 and allow traffic to pass thru those. Any other setups you may have might prohibit this since we don't have enough details, etc.
