iptables not loaded at reboot

I ran iptables save but on a server reboot it just loads the default firewall config.
Any ideas how I can get it to load and flush my custom iptables script on reboot?

Turn the default firewall off and run
iptables-restore < /path/to/where/saved in your boot scripts
