IPTABLE configuration


Hi guy,

Can you help me by giving the syntax to allow certain ip to use ssh on my linux box.

Dear Friends,
how can i enable ssh service for remote users. becuase when i install my linux machine (Fedora core3). and give him a ip address 192.168.1.1 subnet mask 255.255.255.0 it works properly locally but when i go to the enother pc and want to ssh my linux machine it deny my request how can i allow ssh remotely

If you want to allow remote users to access this machine from outside your network you will need to forward port 22 on your router and direct it to the ipaddress of the machine running the ssh server
