ipod mount error
 

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10
trying to use my Ipod with Hipo but I keep getting the error

Unable to mount
DBus error
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidArgs: Mountpoint Already registered

what do i need to do to fix it?

Is it being found at all?

check: and see if its being detected.

Do other usb devices work(like memory sticks)?

you might want to look into using " gtkpod" I use that for my older nano

also how is it formatted
hfs or fat32

the ipods format will make a difference .

gnome-device-manager( dependency for Hipo) was causing it to mount twice...or at least thats what I'm thinking, so I uninstalled it and went with gtk, same set up as Hipo, but it works
