ip forwarding


how can i enable ip forwarding in suse 7.3?

Hi,

Enabling it is quite simple. If your kernel supports it type as root the following command :
# echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward

But if you want ip masquerading you'll have to use iptables.
