Iozone and iometer difference:
 
Hi,
Can anyone tell the difference between iozone and iometer?
and how they can be used in linux machine?

When choosing tools it is a good idea to see how active the project is. The download links on Iometer's page appear to have been last updated in 2006 whereas those for Iozone have been updated as recently as May 2012. I'd not waste time looking into Iometer were I you.

I haven't used either so can't really help you with specifics.

The Iozone has links including documentation and typical setups. Have you reviewed that?

yeah, that am having and am reviewing that. but is Iometer is specifically for windows platform and iozone is for linux.

If you looked up the web sites for both sites and checked the downloads you'd see there are links for both Linux and Windows on both download sites. I should think that would make the answer to your question obvious.
