IonCube loader installation
 

I have IonCube Loader installed on a vps hosting plan. I want to install it on a new dedicated server, and I dont have access to any domain name there.

Can I just go to /usr/lib64/php/modules, and rsync ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so to the same folder location (both CentOS7) on the dedicated plan.

After that, I would add the following line to the top of the /etc/php.ini file:

zend_extension = /usr/lib64/php/modules/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so

Will this just work, or do I need to have access to a domain name for a site that needs it and go over the web installation site?

I guess these two elements are what is needed, and it should work, but I am not sure...
