INX Live CD won't connect me to the internet

Anyone familiar with the INX live CD? I downloaded it, burned it and tried it out and it isn't connecting me to the internet and was wondering what I could do to troubleshoot it.

Thank you

At first you could give us some information:
1. How do you try to connect (wired, wireless, dial-up, ...)?
2. Which network hardware do you have in your machine?
3. Which kernel version are you using?

I tried it out on my Toshiba Satellite L505 laptop, I'm not sure what network hardware it has, how would I find that out? I'm currently running Linux Mint Xfce edition on it. My internet connection is through Wifi for my laptop and wired through my two pc boxes. I'm also not sure what kernel version I'm using either, how would I look that up?

Start from the INX CD, then launch
Code:

lspci
to get the hardware you are running and
Code:

uname -a
to get the kernel version.
