Invisible Mouse Cursor
Hi.....
I installed Redhat Linux 7.2 on my laptop quite successfully 3 days ago. However, when I start Gnome the mouse cursor is not visible despite the fact that I can highlight & click on icons (if I manage to position the pointer correctly!) I have tried to configure my mouse using mouseconfig and even modify XF86Config-4 even though my knowledge of linux is only limited to basics. I have also tried different window managers, however nothing seems to do the trick. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 2800-600 with NVIDIA GeForce2 Go 16Mb 128Bit and my mouse is MS IntelliMouse PS/2. I'd be grateful if someone could provide help! Thanks! |
Hi, I sort of experienced similar case, and I came across more fundamental solution which I forgot.
However, the simpler way is set the video memory size smaller than the current setting. Perhaps 4Mb should work. |
